Production

Material, Finish & Production variables to be highlighted by the client and agreed prior to order & production.

CarbonCutUK stands by the quality of its products, certified under the "Made in Britain" Organization, and manufactured in the UK.

While we strive to collaborate with each client to achieve the desired deliverable, due to the nature of the cutting service, refunds are not possible once a design is ordered as the material cannot be returned to stock.

It is your responsibility to review all files for errors, quality, and ensure accurate measurements/scaling.

When we are required to convert a file other than .DXF extension, CarbonCutUK is not responsible for any resulting quality issues.

Files updated after a quotation may be subject to cost recalculation, with any superseded files clearly identified and discussed.

Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) are available upon request to safeguard your confidentiality.

Unless explicitly agreed or stated:

  • Files will be processed without proof of end production results; it is your responsibility to ensure they are correct and any important production information is detailed in technical drawings prior to the order.

  • Import scale is in mm.

  • All holes will be cut at 3.2mm*, and all internal “sharp” corners given a 1.6mm* radius.

  • All tooling features such as cut & engraved edges will be machine finish & raw edged, splintered and frayed edging may occur.

  • Any surface engraving defaults will be set at -0.1mm.

  • CarbonCutUK reserves the right to publish images of production and finished products.

  • Material thickness may fluctuate in accuracy to stated, this will vary depending on type. Generally the expected tolerance is +/-0.2mm with a maximum deflection of +/-0.4mm.

  • Standard straight through cut tolerances are ±0.2mm & chamfered edges are not applicable to tolerances.

While we make every effort to maintain the quality of our components, it is important to note that they undergo hand processing, which may result in the presence of loose fibers and/or light scratches, regardless of the material finish specified. Although uncommon pin-holes and other minor defects such as shifted weave patterning may occur.

Due to material and operational cost fluctuations, quoting estimations are subject to change over time. Invoices are valid only for the stated period.

Shipping is dependent on job requirement, CarbonCutUK reserves the right to alter the cost, courier company and service quoted to suit requirements.

Larger format, thicker, and alternative finish material carbon fiber can be produced at cost bespoke to order.

Exercise caution when handling cut components as Carbon Fiber edges may be sharp. Contact may cause irritation, and inhalation of loose particles or dust should be avoided.

All terms and conditions of Carbon Fibre also apply to any alternative materials.
